Why not come and meet us? Bring your ideas for what the area and the surgery needs. You will be very welcome – we’re a friendly bunch. Personally, I’m helping with the new garden and other things. I’m Deputy Chair of our Neighbourhood Council and Chair of the Environment Group. We all have different things to offerAnne Glow, Chair of Wellsbourne Healthcare PPG
There are many ways to get involved at Wellsbourne Healthcare. One of the most important ways is by joining our Patient Participation Group.
The Group meets three or four times a year with our Practice Manager and representatives of the clinical team (doctors and nurses). The Group plays a really important role in how Wellsbourne Healthcare operates. If you appreciate the service and what it’s done for you or your family and friends, this is a great way to give something back.
The Patient Participation Group helps with:
- opening times
- quality of care at the surgery
- reception area
- communications with patients
- special projects, like the community garden
- and much more!
Ideally, the Group is representative of our registered patients. We are particularly keen to hear from younger people, members of the LGTQI community, disabled people and BAME individuals.
Why not give it a go and come along to a meeting or two? You can leave the Group at any time with no commitments.
